The hotel offered a complimentary hot chocolate bar, I was pleased. Breakfast included many choices. The room was VERY clean on arrival. The staff knew my name, i felt special.

the staff was helpful arranging transportation. the hotel provided nice toiletries in the bathroom. i found the bed linen comfortable. i appreciated the quiet room. ..
the furniture showed some wear and tear.

weak shower room shabbiness
Honestly, the room felt a bit tired. i spotted some wear and tear. the shower pressure was also surprisingly weak. I expect better for the price. it barely managed to rinse the shampoo from my hair, annoying.

charming and well-located
friendly staff long flight clean room
The staff were friendly and helpful. they showed us to the restroom so we could freshen up and change after our long flight. they also stored our bags. This allowed us to explore the area and get something to eat. the room was ready when we returned, and our bags were already inside.

the hotel has many nooks for coffee or something stronger! while enjoying a view over the garden. there is a piano bar that has live music some evenings. it gives great value.

the hotel is close to the british museum, covent garden, and trafalgar square. there are a variety of food locations and pubs nearby. shopping and tube stations were within walking distance. we walked most of the week.
